Although everyone thought Joselyn Cano was Mexican, she was actually American. The young woman lived in Newport Beach (California) and was originally from Anaheim (California), daughter of parents of Mexican origin.

She studied Microbiology at San Diego State University and began her career as a model when she was only 17 years old, making her mark in the United States at a very young age.

Joselyn Cano became a fashion reference in terms of swimsuit poses and created her own line of swimsuits Joselyn Cano Swimwear.
